Website Review 10/5/18

I am reviewing the website Recording For Teachers. I am looking specifically at the Set Ups/Choirs. I really like the color scheme of the website because it is easy to read and the colors do not contrast each other. I also like how it is easy to manage the site. There are a lot of links directing me to different topics. The information is very detailed when the links go into a google doc. I like how the links in the google docs are labeled if it is a video. All the external links work.

There were a lot of great things to this website, but there are also somethings that would make it better. I would like to see a bit more information in Live vs. Studio Settings under Live because the information is a bit broad. Some of the titles once you go into the google doc do not line up with the one on the actual website. Maybe try keeping it the same so that the website user does not get confused and it is easier to know what you are reading. For example, under small ensembles the google document says group voice instead put both so that we know that both are used. Define some of the terms that people will not know right away. Reading some of the information confused me because I did not know the terms. A short definition at the bottom of the page could be helpful. On the Things to remember at the bottom of the page, the word ‘and’ was used a lot in one sentence. The paragraph just sounds awkward, maybe try to reword a few things and do not use italicized every sentence. Use it sparingly.
